Janeiro is a modern son of Arezzo VDL, who is increasingly making a mark on the KWPN breeding. Arezzo VDL jumped at GP level under respectively Jessica Kurten and Jur Vrieling. Janeiro also received the necessary jumping genes via his dam's side. Dam  Fianta jumps at 1.35 level and managed to impress during the IBOP with a.o. an 8.5 for scope and an 8 for attitude and rideability.

Janeiro is a very pleasant horse to work with and he seems to have everything to become a top jumping horse. Janeiro gallops light-footed and with a lot of balance and is very nice to ride. While jumping, Janeiro shows a lot of reflexes and scope and he has a very good attitude.
