We started the KNHS/KWPN stallion competition yesterday in the beautiful accomodation of Equestrian Centre De Peelbergen. With a lot of people and great horses it was an evening with very attractive sport.
The evening started with the Z/ZZ class over 1.30/1.35. In this class Kimberley Winsigh rode our stallion Herakles but because of an unlucky mistake they stayed out of the jump off.
The next class was the M over a height of 1.20 for 5 year old stallions. The very carefull Illusion (Arezzo VDL x Ukato) was also a bit unlucky with 1 down but after that Gerd Jan Horsmans and Innocent jumped a beautiful clear round. With no less than 18 stallions in the jump off it was quite a fight for the victory but with a very nice ridden clear round Gerd Jan and Innocent finished in 5th position what gives them a good start for the rest of the competition.
In the L class (1m10) Bart Lips showed our homebred Jubel ES (Harley VDL x Lauriston). Also Jubel ES showed himself a very competitive and scopy showjumper and jumped 2 very easy and nice clear rounds. Although the 4 year olds don't get placed, but just gets judged on faults, with 2 times clear it is as well a very good start for Jubel ES.
The next stop will be Ermelo the 11th of December, after that we travel to Zuidbroek the 28th of December and then the final is coming up in Den Bosch during the KWPN stallion show.
