At Schep Stables, breeding is synonymous for passion and emotion. This labor-intensive branch of the company is more than a passion and every born foal is a stimulus to continue with this beautiful branch within the equestrian world.
Although passion is a wonderful emotion, a business vision is also necessary within breeding to make good choices. We only use the best mares for our breeding program, because in our opinion the starting material is of crucial importance. In order to not lose our talented young mares for either the sport or the breeding, we also use embryo transplantation and ICSI to combine sport and breeding in this way.
Although Egbert Schep’s breeding products have already achieved a lot of great results, there were some highlights the last year such as Jubel ES (Harley VDL x Lauriston) bred by us, which was crowned champion during the KWPN performance test. Also the championship title for Ceasar (Ukato x Goodwill) during the DC young riders was a crown on our breeding.
In 2018 we expect a number of foals, which you will find below. Partly these are ET foals and partly mares carrying themselves. The combination Cumano x Seelotte was created by ICSI.
